When Fabrizio and Sylvester are gonna be swinging at Studenterhus Odense, you don’t wanna miss out. The repertoire is going to consist of some of their favorite standards. It is going to be sweet, hot, fast, slow and swingin’.
After the gig there will be a jam session so bring your weapon of choice and play some tunes.
Fabrizio Doberti is a Tuscan drummer and composer born in Lucca on August 21, 2001. He participated in the Siena Jazz Summer Workshop in 2018 and 2019, studying with jazz masters like Jeff Ballard and Avishai Cohen. In 2020, he enrolled in the Siena Jazz Percussion and Drums Bachelor’s program, where he worked with Ralph Alessi and Demian Cabaud. In 2022, he joined the Erasmus Plus project with the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and played with Jason Palmer and Miguel Zenón. He is currently studying at the Focusyear program in Basel.
Sylvester Pedersen is a young bass player currently studying Jazz in Odense. Sylvester plays with a lot of integrity and soul. He is inspired by the old masters such as: Oscar Petiford, Ray Brown, Israel Crosby which you can hear in his fat beat.
