In 1915 Einstein presented his theory of general relativity which is still today the reigning theory of gravity. In the talk, you’ll get an intuitive introduction to general relativity and learn how this theory is used to model the entire universe. You’ll also knnow how this theory, when coupled with astronomical observations, leads to the conclusion that 95 % of the content of the Universe is in the form of mysterious substances dubbed dark matter and dark energy.
